Where and when can you learn TM?
The courses are usually held twice a month, alternately in Pécs or Kozármisleny, in a comfortable and friendly environment.
The technique is always taught individually, and the follow-up meetings are held in small groups with personalized guidance so that each participant can get the most out of the meditation.

How can I apply for the TM course?
You can register by phone or email, but we recommend that you select the appropriate date in the course calendar and reserve your own time for the first day of the course by booking an appointment in the Google calendar embedded in the course page, thus securing your place on the course. Here you will also find all the necessary information about the course.
How long does the TM course take?
The Transcendental Meditation technique course is 4 days long , but only involves 1.5-2 hours per day and is usually scheduled so that you don't have to take time off.
If you choose the hybrid Digital Course, the schedule is a little more flexible, and you can work through the videos at your own pace.
You will learn everything during the 4-day course, but to truly integrate the habit of meditation into your everyday life, we recommend that you also participate in the 4-6 month follow-up.
Do I have to be there all 4 days?
In short: yes.
Maharishi designed the course to provide you with intellectual understanding based on your experiences, so we don't force everything on you in one day. We take it step by step for the best results. The first 3 days must be taken together, the last meeting can be postponed in exceptional cases.
If you choose the hybrid Digital Course, the schedule is a little more flexible, and you can work through the videos at your own pace.
Can you learn TM online, from a YouTube video or a book?
No.
Learning the technique ALWAYS happens in person, one-on-one. It is a very delicate, personalized process.
As part of the hybrid, Digital Course, after the in person initiation you can do the other 3 days of checking meetings online using the TM App. In this case, a short 1-1 meeting will take place on Zoom when you have finished the daily materials.
What if I can't make it to one of the meetings?
Please only start the course if you can reasonably expect to be able to attend all meetings and are healthy! Of course, unexpected situations can occur to anyone, in which case:
If you have booked an appointment, but something comes up, please notify us immediately or cancel the reservation!
If you have already started the course and cannot come to one of the sessions, you can make up for the given lecture on the App or we can arrange another time, contact us and we will discuss it!
What happens after I apply for the course?
If you have booked an appointment for the course, you will receive an automatic confirmation via email (and the appointment will also be added to your Google calendar).
We usually send an email after booking to check if you have any questions, and we also send a message before the course with the details and exact address.

What does VIP or individual course mean?
If none of the listed course dates/timetables suit you or you would like to complete the course completely on your own and we can arrange a time, we are open to working with you individually, however this will incur additional costs.
What are the prerequisites for participating in the course? No prior training or experience in meditation is required. The TM technique can be learned by anyone who can follow simple instructions, and we teach it from the age of 3.

Can I try TM before the course?
You can't try it without learning the technique, but we regularly hold free online introductory lectures where you can gain insight into the basics of TM and learn how this method can fit into your lifestyle.
Who teaches the courses?
The courses are led by experienced and certified TM instructors who are committed to ensuring that each participant learns as much as possible and enjoys the beneficial effects of meditation.
The head of the Pécs TM center, Péter Gajdos, his wife Enikő Gajdos, and occasionally Tamás Rumán also participate in the education.
What supplies are needed to participate in the course?
No special equipment is required for the course, but for the traditional ceremony, where the TM teacher expresses his gratitude and respect to the teachers who have preserved the knowledge and effectiveness of the technique over time, please bring some supplies:
– 5-6 fresh cut flowers
– 2-3 pieces of fruit
– 1 white, unused linen handkerchief or a similarly sized piece of white fabric cut from it.
Come in comfortable clothes and with an open mind. 🙂
How much does the TM course cost?
The TM technique can only be taught by TM teachers trained and certified by Maharishi, but the pricing is not uniform. Our basic course fee is 105,000 HUF (we provide a tax-free invoice). Learn more (discounts, individual course).
In addition to the instruction, the course fee includes personalized guidance, meditation monitoring, and a follow-up lecture series with group meditations.
Is there a money-back guarantee, e.g. if I can't complete the course?
According to international business policy, this is not possible, as you will learn the technique the very first time.
However, it is important to attend every meeting, because only then will you understand and appreciate what and why is happening during meditation.
This is a scientifically proven technique , if you do it, it will work, don't be afraid that you will have problems with effectiveness.
Is there an option to pay in installments?
Yes, it is possible to pay the course fee in installments. For more information, please contact us using one of our contact details.
What happens after the course?
You will be able to meditate on your own after the first session. The next 3 days of the course are dedicated to fine-tuning, theoretical knowledge, and understanding of experiences.
The course includes a 4-month email series, and after the course is complete, we provide ongoing support and additional practice community events to help you deepen your meditation practice and integrate the knowledge you have gained into your daily life, but it is up to you whether you take advantage of these, we will not harass or follow you.
If I don't live near Pécs, where can I learn TM?
