The price of Transcendental Meditation is not a secret, it is usually only mentioned during introductory lectures because it is not enough to just see a price tag, you also need to know the value of the “goods” in order to decide if it is worth it . However, we get a lot of questions about the price from people who have already read about the technique on the internet, so we will describe it.
TM is an ancient, authentic meditation technique that is very easy to practice, but cannot be learned from a book, CD or the internet. The learning process, like the mantra, is personalized, everyone participates individually in personal instruction, where a trained and certified TM teacher gives instructions according to Maharishi's instructions. Maharishi established a systematic TM teacher training system and an international organization to make TM available to all parts of the world and to maintain the purity of knowledge that ensures the effectiveness of the technique. The recommended course fee is determined by this non-profit organization, taking into account the average income in a given country.
The cost of the TM course is quite high, for several reasons:
- In today's world, it is generally accepted that price expresses value.
- Anyone who wants to learn it must make a serious decision, knowing what the technology can give them.
- This is not just the price of the 4-day course, it also includes a series of follow-up lectures and lifelong follow-up and meditation monitoring.
- The organization supports several domestic and international projects from the course fees collected
- Of course, the TM teacher is also entitled to money for his work, in addition to having to cover his expenses (advertising, room rental, travel, etc.)
However, the relatively high course fee is not intended to be affordable only to a narrow group of people; there are many options available for those who want to learn:

The recommended fee for the TM technique learning process, consisting of 4 days of instruction plus a minimum of 3 (13 in Pécs) follow-up lectures over a period of 4-6 months, is 105,000 HUF (which may be reduced by discounts and increased by other factors, e.g. VAT, VIP course, extra costs of the teacher, etc.)

How can you learn TM?
1. Get informed
Read up, watch videos, listen to a lecture, or take an online presentation - whatever works best for you.

2. Apply
Book your first session of the course, where you will learn the technique through personal instruction.
The course lasts 4 days, the other sessions usually take place in the early evening, in groups, for about 1.5-2 hours each session.
3. Become a Meditator
After completing the course, you will become a professional TM practitioner, you will gain lifelong knowledge, you just need to practice 2x20 minutes a day to enjoy its beneficial effects.
